PARIS. - The famous Louvre in Paris introduced new interactive Nintendo 3DS-console instead of the traditional audio-guide. The new models can project stereoscopic images.

Louvre and Nintendo started working on the 3DS console five years ago. The aim of the new device is to attract the youth. The project is financed by Nintendo and the Korean Air Company, Gazeta.ru informs.

The console can conduct individual and thematic tours through the museum. The console can also determine the location of visitors, as 70 per cent of tourists visiting the museum for the first time get lost in the halls and passages.

Currently the console is available on 7 languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese and Korean.
