Armenian American businessman Serob Ter-Poghosyan, who has been sentenced for 15 years imprisonment for pedophilia charges, had applied to the Court of Appeals but his appeal was rejected, Ter-Poghsoyan’s lawyer Givi Hovhannisyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Answering to the question, whether Serob Ter-Poghosyan plans to apply to the European Court, Givi Hovhannisyan said that it depends entirely on Ter-Poghosyan. They have not held any discussions on that topic.

According to the lawyer, Serob Ter-Poghosyan is not in his best health condition, he is receiving chemotherapy.

To note, the owner of Akhtala Metal Prince mining plant, Armenian American businessman Serob Ter-Poghosyan was accused of sex with underage boys. Serob Ter-Poghosyan is charged on 140 and 139 articles of Criminal Code of Armenia.
