YEREVAN. – A two-day conference, entitled “Social Protection or Social Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities: A Step Forward?”, will be held between Friday and Saturday in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.   

During the event, Disabled Peoples’ International European Region Committee President Jean-Luc Simon will present the European track-record on creating and including equal opportunities for the disabled.

In their turn, the governmental members will speak about the policy toward creating equal opportunities and social inclusion. 

And the team from the EU-funded “Everything for us, with us” project will present its analyses and reports.

Also, reports will be offered on the current projects being undertaken in Armenia with reference to the issues of the disabled.
