YEREVAN. – From now on vodka importers will get licenses through more difficult procedures in Armenia. Previously it was rather easy to obtain licenses.

During the Government Seating on Thursday the Armenian Government adopted a decision according to which licenses to vodka importers will be given by the Ministry of Economy through more complicated procedures and terms.

This decision derives from the legislative changes which were done three months ago, Economy Minister Tigran Davtyan told reporters.

This means the same approaches for giving licenses are used for importers and local vodka producers.
