YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Deputy PM and Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan on Tuesday received Resident Representative David Dole of Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Armenia.

The interlocutors discussed the ADB-supported projects and future cooperation.

Deputy PM underscored the ADB-assisted ongoing infrastructure improvement programs in Armenia’s regions and expressed a hope that the effective partnership will continue in this domain.   

Armen Gevorgyan also reflected on the ADB-supported sustainable urban development program and noted that Gyumri, Vanadzor, Jermuk, and Dilijan city’s development programs—which are also included in ADB’s program—are at the Government’s special focus. They agreed to hold joint discussions devoted to Dilijan’s development program.    

Armen Gevorgyan and David Dole also examined the waste management program in Armenia and underscored the need to offer more appealing conditions for the country’s business environment.   

The parties also reflected on the investment program for the North-South Road Corridor.
