YEREVAN. – The organizers of ‘Vahe Avetyan’ social movement have made a statement where they call Ruben Hayrapetyan, recently resigned Armenian MP, the owner of notorious Harsnakar restaurant, where a military doctor Vahe Avetyan has been beaten to death by security staff, to compensate morally and financially Vahe Avetyan’s family.

“The murder of military doctor Vahe Avetyan by Ruben Hayrapetyan once again proved the unannounced slogan of the criminal-oligarch circles – ‘be a slave or leave your country’. To wait until the criminal – oligarch circles destroy themselves someday is dangerous for the nation and the state. As an organization which is concerned with the Armenian Nation, ‘Vahe Avetyan’ social movement demands Ruben Hayrapetyan to compensate the moral and financial damage caused to Vahe Avetyan’s family. Also, Ruben Hayrapetyan must be deprived of the right to conduct political and social works,” the statement reads.
