YEREVAN. – Former Armenian Policeman Mkhitar Alumyan had declared a hunger strike in front of the Police building on Thursday. To note, he previously has attempted to set himself on fire in front of the Presidential Residence on June 7. 

Alumyan insists that he has five underage children with health problems, he told Armenian News-NEWS.am. The Presidential Administration and Police have promised to settle the issue of his salary and his daughter’s health problem. However, only his disabled children’s health issue has been solved so far.

Later when the agency tried to know how he was feeling, he has already stopped the hunger strike.
