YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party Secretary Stepan Safaryan met with United Kingdom Embassy in Turkey’s Program Group Leader Sarah Cetin, and Public Relations and Media Officer Koray Balkaya.    

They discussed the regional developments and the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations, Heritage’s press service informs. 

And a day earlier, Safaryan had a breakfast meeting with Gareth Wynn Owen, Deputy Head of Mission of the United Kingdom in Armenia. The interlocutors examined the domestic political situation following Armenia’s National Assembly (NA) elections on May 6, and Heritage’s outlook on the 2013 presidential elections.     

They also reflected on the extra NA elections, to be held this fall in capital city Yerevan’s Electoral Precinct No. 1, where Stepan Safaryan will run for a parliamentary seat.
