YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Court of Appeals on Thursday will examine the formal objection by attorney Tigran Atanesyan—who is the legal representative of The Civilitas Foundation’s founder and former FM and currently Prosperous Armenia Party MP Vartan Oskanian—to capital city Yerevan’s Kentron and Nork-Marash General Jurisdiction Court’s rejection of Oskanian’s petition to annul the decision by the National Security Service (NSS), Pastinfo News Agency informs.   

To note, the Foundation had demanded that the criminal lawsuit on charges of money laundering, which NSS has launched against the Foundation, be dismissed. 

Vartan Oskanian—who is a witness in this lawsuit—and his representative find that Oskanian’s rights were violated by the launching of this criminal lawsuit.     

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, on May 25 the NSS Department of Investigation launched a criminal lawsuit on charges of money laundering with respect to The Civilitas Foundation.
