YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Emergency Situations Ministry received a call, on Thursday at 7:37am, informing that Ohanavan village resident Gohar Barseghyan, 34, was transferred to Ashtarak city’s medical center, on Wednesday at around 11pm, on symptoms of snake-bite poisoning.  

Doctors say the woman is in satisfactory condition, the Ministry’s press service informs.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, a new case of attack of snake on a human was registered in Armenia on July 27. Udjan village resident Harutyun Khachatryan was hospitalized in Ashtarak, his health condition was estimated as satisfactory.

On the same day, employees of a Yerevan city kindergarten alarmed on having seen a snake. However, rescuers found no snake in the site. Another alarm on having seen a snake was received by a Masis city resident. The rescuers found the snake and took it to a secure place.
