YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations received information, on Tuesday at 8:20pm, that a VAZ 2121-model vehicle had crashed into a tree alongside a highway in Jermuk city of Vayots Dzor Region.

The automobile’s driver, Misak Hakobyan, 62, lost his life on the spot, the Ministry press service informs.

Separately, and as Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the driver of a GAZ 3102-model car had hit Patvakan Harutyunyan, 81, on the Yerevan-Meghri Highway, on August 26 at around 10am. The elderly men had sustained injuries and he was transferred to hospital.   

But Harutyunyan lost his life in the hospital, and as a result of his injuries, on the same day at 3:30pm. An investigation was launched into this incident
