YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police Chief, Police Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan, chaired the Police operative consultation meeting held on Friday.

The order of the day was the results of Police activities conducted in the past nine months, Police Media Department informs. The Police department chiefs reflected on the shortcomings and shortfalls recorded during these activities.

Underscoring the events being undertaken with participation by minors, Gasparyan instructed to design a plan toward organizing similar events at the institutions of higher education as well.

Armenia’s Police Chief invited the regional Police department heads’ attention to solving the animal theft, illegal tree-cutting, and poaching cases.

Reflecting on the phenomenon of not reporting crimes, Gasparyan stressed the need to train the police inspectors in terms of solving previously committed crimes and burglaries.   

Giving a positive assessment to the activities conducted by the Police divisions that provide public service, Armenia’s Police Chief instructed the continuation of this process.
