Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will arrive in Ankara on January 29 at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Haberler website reports.

The sides will discuss bilateral friendly relations, issues on regional and international cooperation, reads the statement by Turkish governmental press service.

Bulgarian Premier intends to meet with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and local businessmen.

As NEWS.am reported earlier, recently anti-Turkish sentiments in Bulgaria grew. Rosen Markov, Head of the marginal Party of Bulgarian Men, opposing broadcasting of news in Turkish language in Bulgaria discovered a new way of struggle. Markov attempted a hara-kiri in front of the Bulgarian Parliament, Interhaber reports. Policemen used electroshock to neutralize him.

Earlier Markov tried to set himself on fire near Bulgarian National TV building. The protestors supporting him were carrying “No to the news in Turkish on the BNT. They are an outrage. Who needs them?” banners.

Bulgarian Minister without Portfolio Bozhidar Dimitrov, engaged in Bulgarians’ issues abroad claimed compensation from Turkey last December. According to him, it is a compensation for deportation of Bulgarians in Ottoman Empire.
