February 5, 2010, Kazakh Secretary of State — Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev will participate in the UN Security Council meeting to present Kazakhstan’s OSCE presidency priorities, stated Kazakh Foreign Ministry Spokesman Askar Abdrakhmanov, Today.kz reports.

According to him, Kazakh FM will deliver a speech on main objectives of Kazakhstan’s presidency in OSCE in 2010, as well as hold meetings with UN leaders.
In the course of his official visit to Washington, Saudabayev will discuss strategic partnership issues.

“Topical issues of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and U.S., as well as collaboration within OSCE will be canvassed at the meetings with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other high-ranking U.S. officials,” he said. Abdrakhmanov added that the impending visit is of major significance in the context of Kazakhstan’s chairmanship in OSCE.
