In Armenia, on January 25-28, series of events dedicated to the Day of the Army and the 21th anniversary of the formation of the Armed Forces will be held.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am was informed at the press service of the Ministry of Defense, on January 25, in the building of Ministry of Defense a solemn meeting will be held, during which state and departmental awards will be awarded. The same day the presentation of the book Armenian National Symbols by the director of the Museum-Institute of Armenian Genocide Hayk Demoyan will be held.

On January 26, at Yerevan State University, the Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will meet with professors and run a “Lesson of Courage” for students and summarize the work done in 2012 in terms of military-patriotic education.

On January 27 a solemn liturgy will be held at Holy Echmiadzin.

On January 28 the heads of MoD and the Armed Forces will visit the “Yerablur” military pantheon.

The activities will be completed with a concert.
