YEREVAN.- Representative of Armenia’s ruling party said presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian’s remarks are a product of his fevered imagination.

Eduard Sharmazanov commented for Armenian News-NEWS.am on Hovannisian’s accusations of using administrative resources during a campaign in support of incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan.

“Not a single state agency or educational institution is engaged in campaigning for Serzh Sargsyan. We repeatedly stated the elections must be held within the law. We have vital necessity of clear and transparent election,” he said, adding that Sargsyan, unlike Raffi Hovannisian, is not handing in books during his campaign events.

Sharmazanov urged voters to report about violations immediately, adding the police and prosecutor’s office will give a prompt response.
