YEREVAN. – Armenian presidential candidate Andreas Ghukasyan will continue his hunger strike until election day on February 18, Ghukasyan’s campaign headquarters coordinator Armen Grigoryan informed during a press conference on Friday.

According to him, if Ghukasyan’s demands are not met until then, he will develop new methods of efforts following February 18. He is in normal health condition at present.

In response to the query as to whether Ghukasyan’s hunger strike is a unique PR campaign, Grigoryan noted: “This is not true. The factor of one man should not be ruled out. The history of mankind shows what one man is capable of.”

As for public reaction to Ghukasyan’s protest, Grigoryan informed that the response is more active than expected.
