YEREVAN.- Armenian Deputy PM, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan received the delegation of the World Bank, led by head of the Yerevan office Jean-Michel Happi.

 Issues on cooperation in the field of irrigation system have been discussed. The deputy prime minister noted that development of irrigation remains among the priorities of the government, and in the coming years, significant attention will be paid to the construction of reservoirs.

He expressed appreciation for the contribution of the World Bank in the development and renovation of the system at the same time highlighting the effectiveness of WB programs.

The parties discussed the structure of new projects in the field of irrigation, as well as the possibility of holding a joint conference on water management.
