MOSCOW. – Relatives of the ‘Russian Al Capone’, famous gangster Ded (Grandfather) Hasan, who was killed in Moscow this month, asked the famous Russian-Armenian sculptor Aram Grigoryan to create the monument on his honor.
To note, earlier Grigoryan was informed to make sketches for the monument and he waits for the approval by the Russian gangster’s relatives. The sculptor told RIA Novosti that he did not get the furor due to creating a monument.
“When a doctor treats a patient, he does not ask who his patient is, so am I,” he stated.
He also sees nothing strange in the fact that Ded Hasan’s relatives turned especially to him and he explained it by the fact that he was born in Armenia and knows very well the traditions of Yazidis, while Ded Hasan was a Yazidi.
