YEREVAN. - At the meeting of the Government of Armenia on January 31, tourism development in Goris city and the project developed by Armenian Ministry of Economy will be discussed.

According to the draft program, a number of activities in the city starting from 2014 are planned, aimed at increasing tourist attraction in Goris. In particular, it is planned to restore the old amphitheater, a theater of “color-light-sound” will be created. The program is envisaged to improve the appearance of cultural and historical monuments of Goris, institution of Ethnological Museum, old mills will be restored and the road linking the historic center of the old Goris will be improved.
