Drama The Hurt Locker took home six Oscars, including Best Director for Kathryn Bigelow who became the first woman to win Oscar in this nomination. “The Hurt Locker” won over 10 films in the Best Picture category, including James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’.

Jeff Bridges won Oscar as Best Actor for his performance in “Crazy Heart”, while Sandra Bullock won Best Actress for her role in “The Blind Side”.

Argentinean “The Secret in Her Eyes” won Oscar in the category Best Foreign Language Film.
