The Armenian National Council of South America (CNA) expressed content with approval of Genocide Resolution by the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Diario Armenia reports.

CNA outlines that despite the pressure by the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Congressmen remained firm in their position appealing to historical justice and rejection of Turkey’s negation policy.

“Ankara’s hysteric reaction to Committee’s decision once again disclosed Turkey’s negation policy and failed attempts to suspend the just process. Fanatic policy of intolerance discredits Ankara’s intention to make peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus,” said the CNA representative Alfonso Tabakian said.
