RA Minister of Agriculture and Rule of Law Party (OYK) member Gerasim Alaverdyan refuted the rumors on his possible resignation in Mar.15 interview.

“I stand firmly on my feet, having corresponding programs at hand and keep on working,” Alaverdyan said adding: “These rumors are slanders. Rule of Law Party is satisfied with my work.”

Commenting on RA PM’s sharp reprimand to RA Agriculture Minister at the recent cabinet meeting, Alaverdyan said: “This is a regular workflow. I award my workers, encourage and rebuke them. There were some issues connected with the procurement system tender, and in order to avoid them, I declare that henceforth the tenders will be invited in the presence of journalists and video cameras.”

Asked whether his colleagues — RA former Ministers Gurgen Sargsyan and Mher Shahgeldyan were not standing firmly on their feet, Alaverdyan replied: “They were.”

As NEWS.am reported previously, RA Minister of Transport and Communication Gurgen Sargsyan and Minister of Emergency Situations Mher Shahgeldyan were removed from their positions. Chairman of Cadastre State Committee of Real Estate at RA Government Manuk Vardanyan and Deputy of RA Chief of Police Armen Yeritsyan were appointed to the posts respectively.
