On April 14, a violent cyclone struck eastern India, killing at least 30 people.
The hurricane hit West Bengal and Bihar states, 600 km of Calcutta, demolishing fifty thousand mud huts in the villages, uprooting trees and snapping telephone and power lines.
Local authorities are conducting search operations in the affected areas. The death may rise when the debris of the collapsed buildings is cleared, Indian mass media reports.
