The son of famous basketball coach Jerry Tarkanyan, Dani Tarkanyan officially stated he intends to run for congressmen for Nevada in the U.S. Senate, the Armenian “Marmara” daily reports (appeared in Turkey).
According to the newspaper Dani Tarkanyan practiced professional basketball, however has recently decided to be involved in politics. His contender is democrat Harry Reid.
