An-12 cargo aircraft of “Aero Fret Business” Airlines heading Congolese city Pointe-Noire – to Brazzaville (Congo) crashed August 26 morning. The crash occurred at attempted landing 20 kilometers south of Brazzaville.

According to preliminary data, 6 are reported dead. Among the victims are two citizens of Congo, Ukraine (Captain Mikhail Polyakov, freight engineer Ivan Pogursky) and Moldova (2nd pilot Smolich and navigator Alekseyenko).

The cause of the crash is yet unclear. Congo authorities reported the aircraft had 20t civil cargo aboard.
