YEREVAN. - The rating of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is currently 50 percent.

Sociologist Aharon Adibekyan said the aforementioned at a press-conference Monday.

In his words, all the seats in the political theater of Armenia are occupied. “The Republican Party of Armenia is in the stalls, over half of the votes belonging to the RPA. Leaders of 725 out of 915 communities of Armenia are Republicans. Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) comes second, since Tsarukyan left the political field forever or temporarily. PAP is in a state of breakdown, three political parties or unions trying to divide PAP heritage between themselves,” Adibekyan noted.  

According to the sociologist, the last analyses of the local self-governance election results in Armenia showed that Armenian Revival and ARF Dashnkatsutyun parties have maintained their constituency, whereas PAP has yielded its positions by two times. The fate of Heritage remains questionable, while the Armenian National Congress (ANC) always gathers about 7 percent,'' Adibekyan added.
