YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a call, on Wednesday at 9:53pm.

Accordingly, a traffic accident had occurred nearby the US Embassy in Yerevan—in the capital city, there were affected, and rescuers were needed.

Two fire and rescue squads, an operative team, and a psychological counseling instructor were dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a Daewoo Nexia—with driver H. H., born in 1981—and a Grand Cherokee—whose driver could not be determined—had crushed.

Prior to the fire and rescue workers’ arrival on the scene, however, L. Ts.—born in 1992—was hospitalized. 

The rescuers removed H. H. out of the vehicle and brought this person closer to the waiting ambulance, which took this person to hospital. 

The injured received corresponding medical assistance and were checked out of hospital.
