YEREVAN. – In the first quarter of 2017, a total of 43,368,000 drams (about US$89,200) will be allocated from the reserve fund of the Government of Armenia, to help Syrian Armenians.
A decision was made, at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting, to allocate money to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and wherewith primary necessities and food will be purchased for Syrian Armenians.
Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan introduced the respective program at the meeting.
