Chief of Turkish army Hulusi Ankar discussed situation in Syria and Iraq during his meeting with American counterpart Joseph Danford, Anadolu reported.
The meeting was held ahead of Turkish leader’s upcoming visit to Washington set for mid May.
During the regular round of talks in Astana the countries guarantors of Syria ceasefire - Russia, Turkey and Iran - signed a memorandum on creation of four de-escalation zones in Syria.
