October 2, 2009 strong blast occurred in plastics factory “Hyperlast” in north Derbyshire. The explosion caused huge fire in the building. No report on victims and injured was available. Twelve fire brigades operated to extinguish the fire, ITAR –TASS reports.
The accident area was cordoned off by the police, local residents were evacuated. Blast causes are being clarified.
Large clouds of black smoke rise above the accident site, ITN reports.
