Samtskhe-Javakhk reported the first coronavirus case after a resident of Akhaldaba village tested positive on April 16. On April 23, another patient from Bakuriani tested positive and was transferred to the hospital in Borzhomi. As of April 28, there are four COVID-19 cases in Samtskhe-Javakhk.
