YEREVAN. - A citizen of France, Karabakh war participant, political prisoner Sargis Hatspanyan will be released on Thursday, PR department of penitentiaries under Armenian Justice Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
“His term of punishment expires on June 9,” the ministry said.
Hatspanyan was arrested in 2008 on charges of false denunciation and was sentenced to 3-year imprisonment.
