Today at 2:02 a.m. the National Center for Crisis Management of Armenia received an alarm according to which a citizen was trying to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge in Yerevan.

As reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, a rescue squad of the Yerevan Rescue Department and an on-duty psychologist of the Psychological Support Division left for the scene of the incident.

Rescuers prevented the citizen’s attempt to commit suicide and transferred the citizen to the local police station.
