Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and United Nations Resident Coordinator Shombi Sharp today co-chaired another meeting within the framework of the Platform for Coordination of Cooperation with Armenia Development Partners.

As reported the press service of the Government of Armenia, among the attendees were the ambassadors of several countries implementing support programs in the country and leaders of the representations of international organizations.

Taking into consideration the fact that this was the first discussion in this format following the formation of the Cabinet, Deputy Prime Minister Grigoryan introduced the Government’s Action Plan, the main benchmarks and the predetermined reforms. He stated that there is serious cooperation in several sectors and particularly set aside the areas of infrastructures, green economy and human capital development. Grigoryan also touched upon the need to combine efforts to resist the current challenges and attached importance to the public governance reforms and digitization agenda.

During the meeting, Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan presented the main directions of the Government’s fiscal policy and the current measures being taken to ensure macroeconomic stability.

The international partners highly appreciated the holding of these discussions and proceeded with a question-and-answer session.
