Officials accused of involvement in the theft of coal from Mongolia have been executed in China, CentralAsia reports.

The Chinese side has executed the officials involved in the theft of this coal, the Chinese side has sent the names of the Mongolian politicians involved in the case to Prime Minister Luvsannamsrayn Oyuun-Erdene, the publication reported.

Due to reports about the theft of coal worth $ 1.8 billion, which is exported from Mongolia to China, riots involving several thousand people broke out earlier in Ulaanbaatar. Protesters attempted to storm the Government Palace.

The country's authorities demanded that the protesters disperse, stating that otherwise the protest would be dispersed. According to the government, several law enforcement officers and four civilians have already been injured in the protests.
