France has been hit by Storm Floriane, and the—penultimate—orange level of climate alert has been declared in 21 departments of the country, reports Meteo France.
Meteorologists warn that the storm will pass through France from west to east—from the Department of Vendee to the Department of Ardennes,. Wind gusts up to 34 m/s have already been recorded in western France, which received the first blow of this natural disaster, BFMTV television reports. And due to the risk of falling trees, a number of departments have decided to limit train traffic during the day.
