YEREVAN. – Armenia’s capital city Yerevan will become the venue, from Tuesday to Thursday, for an international conference on library and information science and under the motto “From Gutenberg to Internet: Unfinished Story for Libraries.” 

The event is organized within the framework of Yerevan being declared World Book Capital for 2012.

The discussants will reflect on matters concerning intellectual property and copyright in developing countries and publication of scientific journals, and packages for introducing free source code programs to libraries.

Also, the participants will get familiar with the European and North American countries’ past track-record and new accomplishments in the domain of library and information science.     

In addition, the world’s thirteen leading publishers will exhibit their products to the conference participants.
