GYUMRI. – Armenian Shirak region’s Court of General Jurisdiction sentenced Tigran Asoyan, 21, to four years of imprisonment for raping an underage girl, Shirak region’s Court of First Jurisdiction informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

On October 14, 2011, Tigran Asoyan went to visit his relatives but only his 15 year old cousin was at home. He tried to kiss her, but she pushed him away. Tigran dragged her to the sofa, undressed her, undressed himself and tried to have sex with her. She cried for help, but Tigran closed her mouth with his hand and raped her. Hearing the girl’s cries the neighbors came to the house. After seeing them, Tigran ran away.
