YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Rescue Service received a call, on Saturday at 6:15am, informing that an electricity utility pole was on fire in front of a capital city Yerevan house.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene, the Rescue Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
It was found out that there was a leakage, with an ensuing combustion, in a natural gas pipe.
The fire and rescue squad kept watch until the leakage was stopped by the gas emergency service.
