YEREVAN. – The driver of a VAZ 2105 car hit a 77-year-old woman near the entrance of an apartment building in Yerevan city at 2.30 p.m. on Thursday.

As the press service of the Armenian Police informs Armenian News-NEWS.am, the woman was hospitalized with several injuries. Investigation is underway.

Earlier another old woman was run over in Yerevan. Mercedes-Benz vehicle ran over 73-year-old Julieta H. in Raffi street. She was taken to hospital with bodily injuries.

Old people and children have been recently involved in car accidents. Mercedes C 180 hit a 6-year-old boy on Gai Avenue in Yerevan on Monday.

On the same day it was found out that ZAZ-Sena-model car hit a 76-year-old man and transferred him to hospital.
