YEREVAN. – A 47-year-old guardian of a student shelter, opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun party member Arshavir Karapetyan, who was detained in suspicion for having kept weapons of huge quantity on Feb. 29 in Yerevan’s Nor Nork district, was released, while the case was closed, Armenian News-NEWS.am sources report.

It was cleared out that the armistice belonged to another person, whose whereabouts is unknown. Earlier the agency informed that the ARFD member Karapetyan suspected in keeping the weapons was a war participant, as claimed by the party. Police also did not comment on rumors spread by media that Karapetyan had the weapons after the war and that it was moved to the aforesaid place recently.
