ASHTARAK. – The State Commission on the Protection of the Economic Competition of Armenia (SCPEC) continues regional visits and on Wednesday it was in Ashtarak city, Armenia’s Aragatsotn Region.
Control shopping was realized in the major supermarket of the city.
Among violations, the Commission reveled spreads, which were sold as butter and meat products, which lacked the production and expiration dates.

Regarding the revealed violations, proceedings will be launched, and explanations of the market will be heard, SCPEC representative Hayk Vardanyan told the journalists.

According to the Commission head A. Shaboyan, regional visits are targeted at informing consumers for their rights and raise trust towards the Commission activities.
