YEREVAN. – The Government’s conclusions on Prosperous Armenia Party MP Samvel Balasanyan’s legislative proposals were publicized during Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.  

The Deputy had submitted five bills, three of which were new law proposals while two were changes in the working laws.

Specifically, Balasanyan introduced laws on “Agriculture,” “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Development and State Support,” and “State Incentives for Mothers with Many Children.” Also, he proposed changes in the current laws on “Restoration of the City of Gyumri,” and “Foreigners.”     

But the Government reached a negative conclusion for all these legislative initiatives.  

To note, Samvel Balasanyan is a Gyumri mayoral candidate, and, if the serving Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan does not run in the mayoral elections, Balasanyan is considered as the next most likely candidate.
