YEREVAN. – Armenia’s public council discussed television broadcast policy during its Tuesday meeting with the participation of heads and representatives of the television companies.

Head of the council Vazgen Manukyan presented the results of previous discussions and the proposals made during previous meetings. The representatives of TV companies expressed their views on broadcast policy and underscored necessity of creating an equal competitive field.

The issues related to content, legislation and advertisement problems were discussed. The sides agreed to hold a number of such meetings to discuss the proposals to be submitted to the president this September.
