YEREVAN. – Armenia’s state commission for the organization of 21st Independence Day anniversary events convened a session, which was chaired by PM and commission chairman Tigran Sargsyan. 

Presidential Chief of Staff, and commission’s deputy chairman, Vigen Sargsyan noted that the preparations for Armenia’s Independence Day anniversary events are in progress according to schedule, the Government press service informs.   

Specifically, an anniversary concert will be held on September 21 at capital city Yerevan’s Republic Square. Celebratory events will be organized also in the country’s regions and the Diaspora-Armenian communities.

During the session, the course of the festive events being organized by a variety of state departments was introduced as well. And the Premier instructed the respective department heads to address possible problems in an operative way, in order to organize the anniversary events on high level and according to schedule.
