YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan will pay a visit Friday to capital city Yerevan’s Shengavit Medical Center, where a Syrian Armenian woman by the name of Alin has given birth to a baby boy. 

This is the first case of birth among those Syrian-Armenian families who have arrived in Armenia in the recent periods, the Diaspora Ministry’s press service informs.

A total of 90 members from 46 Syrian-Armenian families have applied for a refugee status in Armenia ever since the beginning of this year until August 25.
