YEREVAN. – During its session Thursday, the Government of Armenia will examine the draft decision “On providing [monetary] assistance to [political] parties and party blocs that have received three- or more-percent votes, with proportional election system, in the 2012 Armenian [National Assembly] NA elections,” Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.

“This draft proposes to provide money to the six parliamentary factions because, in line with official data, none of the other three parties, which ran in the NA elections, garnered three percent of the votes.

[A total of] AMD 40,595,000 [approx. $99,612] is envisioned for the parties, and this will be distributed among them,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
