YEREVAN. – The findings continue in the construction sector, Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan stated Wednesday during the Cabinet session. 

He recalled that instructions were given to study the current state of affairs in this sector. “I should regretfully note that the findings are continuing; a very shameful picture opens before us,” Sargsyan said. 

Specifically, AMD 270 million (approx. $663,260) was allocated for school construction in Mets Mantash village of Shirak Region, but, as the PM informed, AMD 200 million (approx. $ 491,300) is misused and the school building is still considered third-degree unsafe. The situation is the same in School No. 5 of Masis city. And earlier, infringements were discovered in the National Library building.

Armenia’s Premier added that all these cases have been handed over to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
