YEREVAN. – Henrik Avagyan—who is head of the Artashat city campaign headquarters of Armenia’s presidential candidate, opposition Freedom Party Chairman, former PM Hrant Bagratyan—informed the Police, on Tuesday at 5:35pm, that while attaching Bagratyan’s campaign posters in Nerkin Dvin village, on the same day at around 2pm, he had noticed the passengers of a vehicle tearing the posters, arguing that they were attached in a place where it is prohibited.       

It was found out that the given vehicle belonged to Nerkin Dvin Village Hall, and the two aforesaid passengers are Village Hall employees. The latter came to the local Police precinct, on the same day, and gave an account on what had occurred, Police press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am

A respective investigation is launched.
